Golang Job: Solutions Architect (1098)

EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Solutions Architect In this role you will ensure that the business process and technology perspectives are in line with the governance strategies, policies and standards. The role requires that you collaborate across the company with stakeholders, engineering teams, product management, customers, suppliers, and third-party partners.

The successful candidate will be a passionate about defining EagleView’s technology infrastructure, dividing systems into components and subsystems, and defining and managing interfaces and APIs. While providing a general view of solution architecture, this role will be required to enable those who implement value by empowering them to make local decisions, allowing for faster flow of work and improved efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level solution intent including elements such as current state, future state, nonfunctional requirements and other architecture standards and compliance constraints as needed.
• Continually researching current & emerging technologies and propose changes when needed.
• Assist in establishing an IT and software architecture practice and governance through the adoption of standards & processes
• Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems and software architecture
• Work with SAFe portfolio stakeholders to develop and execute enabler epics as part of the architecture runway in support of new business features and capabilities
• Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience large solution architecture design and decision making.
• 8+ years experience coding in more than one language, e.g. C#, Java, C++, GoLang, Python, etc.
• Experience with Javascript, NodeJS, UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Experience with All types of database technology (NoSQL, RDB and graph)
• Experience with any of the leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Container experience using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience designing and deploying RESTful API’s, SaaS and Workflow Management solutions at scale
• Proven record of making sound technical decisions in the face of ambiguity at scale
• Experience designing and improving complex software applications
• Experience coaching and mentoring developers at various levels of experience
